Becks considers 'big decision'

David Beckham insists he has still to make a decision over his future, with Paris Saint-Germain eager to secure his services.The former England captain's four-year spell with Los Angeles Galaxy is drawing to a conclusion and a number of clubs are keen to sign the veteran midfielder. 



Ambitious Ligue 1 outfit PSG are reported to be leading the race for his signature, with sporting director Leonardo confirming initial discussions had taken place.Beckham, who lifted the MLS Cup with Galaxy to secure the first trophy of his spell in the United States, has not ruled out signing a new deal with his current employers.

But the 36-year-old, speaking in the Philippines where Galaxy a playing a series of friendlies, accepts he has a "big decision to make".

Blues trio on World XI shortlist

Five Englishmen have been nominated on a 55-man shortlist for the FIFA FIFPro World XI 2011 - but it is Spain's Primera Liga that dominates.

Chelsea trio Ashley Cole, John Terry and Frank Lampard, and Manchester United duo Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney made the cut, along with another 12 players from the Premier League - 13 if you include the now retired former United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar.

Two more Blues - David Luiz and Didier Drogba - are included, plus three more United players in Patrice Evra, Nemanja Vidic and Nani.

Tottenham's Wales winger Gareth Bale makes the shortlist, as does Arsenal's Robin van Persie and Liverpool's Luis Suarez.The other four Premier League representatives play for Manchester City - Vincent Kompany, David Silva, Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero. Spain's top league boasts 22 nominees, made up predominantly of players from European champions Barcelona and their arch-rivals Real Madrid.
